Originally founded as the East Alabama Male College, Auburn was renamed twice more before becoming Auburn University. Even when it was known as the Alabama Polytechnic Institute (up until 1960), you’ll find some vintage memorabilia that calls the university “Auburn.” This crest that incorporates the university’s athletics calls back to retro college gear of the ‘80s and ‘90s.
